Sleem Hasan a global Financial Entrepreneur with a truly global background. Born in Fiji of Pakistani parentage, raised in Nigeria, Oxbridge educated, worked with the Japanese at Nikko and now resident in Dubai, UAE. Founded Privity FZ LLC in 2004, an independent advisory and consulting firm in Dubai; founded Hasan Financial Corporation in 1996, an independent FSA regulated buy and sell side advisory firm in London and was the first seed-investor in Vuepoint, a product brand knowledge focused company which morphed into Certpoint Systems Inc in January 2007. CERT is the commercial arm of the Higher Colleges of Technology based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Privity enabled the metamorphosis of Vuepoint and was also its first major assignment in the GCC region. Recently Privity has enabled and assisted Go4Venture UK in identifying a strategic investor from UAE for a telecommunication client in Europe. Privity was retained by Lehman Brothers for advisory work in the UAE, Qatar & Kuwait. Co-founded EcQuant in August 2007, a consulting firm that focuses on data mining and intelligence. Married and lives in London and Dubai.
