Fassine Fofana is a chemical engineer with an MBA from INSEAD, MSc in Financial Economics from University of London and Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He was Minister of Mining & Energy in Guinea from 1994-2000 and Secretary General for Central Bank of Guinea from 1991-1994. He previously held Chairmanship positions in resource companies and a strategic planning role with US based diesel engine maker Cummins. From 1996 to 2000 he was a member of the governing board of the African Development Bank. He joined EER in 2004.
