Chris Wilks qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young (spending 4 years in Corporate Finance) and has a degree in Applied Physics and Electronics from Durham University. Until February 2008 he was the Finance Director at Sondex plc, the leading Oilfield technology supplier of instrumentation for oil well logging and directional drilling. He joined Sondex when it was a small independent business and was the architect of the financial structure and support systems which allowed the company to list in London, transforming itself into a multinational group and ultimately being acquired by GE Energy. Chris has also had other financial leadership roles in the NFL and a business in the water industry.
