Steve Davies is a geophysicist with 18 years industry experience, working for Texaco in the UK and Lasmo on projects across North Africa and the Middle East. Steve was involved in the Lasmo Libya discoveries of the mid 1990’s including the prolific Elephant Field in the Murzuk Basin. Before joining EER in 2007, Steve worked for BG, coordinating the evaluation of new venture projects in North Africa. In addition to exploration, Steve has worked within production and development assets in both Syria and the UK offshore. Steve holds a BSc in Geology & Geophysics from the University of Durham, and MSc in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College London.
