Relationships

3D geo modelling is a technique that combines field mapping and remote sensing data with available subsurface and geophysical data.  By bringing together surface, borehole, seismic and structural data, and applying computer-aided structural interpretation, a visual 3D geological model of the target area can be produced.

The result is accurate and detailed subsurface modelling, with oil and gas reserves located and volumes assessed. It provides important data for reservoir management and production - and in particular, the optimisation of production wells to enhance reservoir performance.
